Time is constantly running away from you. If you want to take a step back, relax, enjoy nature and recharge your batteries, then you have come to the right place.
Our house is located on the outskirts of Tignécourt, a small village in the Vosges department, just a few kilometres from the Haute Saône and Haute Marne.
The forest of Tignécourt lies on the edge of the Darney forest massif. The forest massif is considered a model for the forest of tomorrow.
It is known for its diversity - an area of oaks, beeches and hornbeams, wet valleys with streams lined with ash and alder trees.
Our surroundings are characterised with agriculture, meadows and forests. A paradise for nature lovers, with popular excursion destinations, sporting activities and cultural offerings all within a short drive.
The spa towns of Contrexeville, Vittel and Bourbonne les Bains are nearby (20-30min), with a variety of health and wellness offers.

The House
The farmhouse, which dates back to the 18th century, has been lovingly renovated both inside and out in recent years.
Most of the work was done according to old traditions, such as insulation with hemp and lime, natural wooden floors from our region, and the use of lime wall paints to create a good indoor climate. We have placed a lot of emphasis on ecological building materials and have also used them to a large extent.
It is a unique place that combines local tradition with modern comfort. It offers space for 4 persons. A cot can be added.
The Kitchen
The heart of the house. The kitchen offers space for 6 to 8 people.
It invites you to cook and eat together. Cooking is done on the gas cooker or our old wood burning stove, which also heats the kitchen.
Refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, filter coffee machine, kettle, microwave, raclette and fondue set, and all kitchen utensils are available in abundance.
Dish towels and washing-up liquid are provided. High chair for children is available.
The living room
The living room is furnished with 2 sofas (2 seater and 3 seater) and an armchair, stereo with CD, TV with satellite connection, information folder with information about the region, activities and excursions, various games for children and adults and a small library with multilingual books.
The exposed ceiling beams, wooden ceilings and natural stone walls create a cosy atmosphere to feel at home.
The tiled stove provides the house with a pleasant warmth, which even our four-legged guests appreciate.

The Bathrooms
Bathroom " La Grange "
The bathroom is located between the kitchen and the slightly lower barn. It is equipped with an Italian shower, a washbasin, mirror and shelf. Opposite is a separate WC with washing machine, shelf with all household utensils such as iron, ironing board, cleaning utensils, ...
Bathroom " In the Green "
The bathroom is on the first floor. It is equipped with an easy walk-in shower, washbasin, shelf and WC.
Towels can be provided for an extra charge.
The bedrooms
Both bedrooms are located on the first floor.
Bedroom "In the Green"
The bedroom has a view into the greenery, onto the terrace with the adjacent orchard. It is equipped with a double bed 160 x 200 cm with adjustable slatted frames, a wardrobe with mirror and two bedside tables.
Bedroom "Tradition"
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed 180 x 200 cm, an antique single bed, a wardrobe, a chest and two bedside tables.
Exteriors, a haven of greenery
Behind the house is a natural stone terrace with raised flower bed and raised pond.
In the raised flower bed there are herbs with which you can refine your dishes. Adjacent to the terrace there is a roof to protect you from sun and rain. An adjoining, fenced-in orchard is at your sole disposal.
A place dedicated to relaxation and recreation ... enjoy a few moments of tranquillity in the countryside ...
Barbecue, deckchairs and garden furniture are available.
In front of the house there is a small sitting area with bistro table and two chairs.

Our friends the animals
Our dogs and horse friends are very welcome!
For dogs we offer bowls, a basket and towels.
The garden is completely fenced in at a height of 1.50m. We do not charge extra for dogs.
Veterinarians are within a radius of 10km. It is possible to organise individual lessons with dog trainers.
For the horses we offer two panel boxes in a barn opposite the cottage. Hay and water are available. Our pastures are within a radius of max.1,5 km.
Price for horse accommodation on request.
